Tonight I watched one of my favourite studio Ghibli movies, My Neighbor Totoro, with my friend who shall go by the name of Batman on this blog and naturally, I’m bubbling over with feelings of heart-melty, mushy, hugable goodness. I have seriously considered just trading in my beardy gentleman for a big, hugable Totoro who will take me on adventures in the cat-bus.
if you haven’t seen this movie, I’ll give it to you in a nutshell with no spoilers:
Two adorable young sisters and their Dad move into a house which is nearby the hospital that their ill mother is staying at and the two girls have adventures with their big, lovable, guardian, spirit-of-the-forest Totoro.
In other words: children and warm things.
You can only assume that I was reduced to tears within minutes.

Look at Mai! Look at how adorable that little girl is just sitting on top of Totoro like she owns the place. Goodness gracious golly I’m having too many feelings.

Above I’ve shared some beautiful fan art that I came across on Tumblr and the users who posted the artwork are named in the captions underneath so I encourage you to visit their websites and be reduced to crying and blubbering over what a beautiful movie Totoro is and having too many feelings to handle properly.
I love that movie. I’m crazy about the little white Totoro <3
